I'm in the fitness industry to change lives, and this is a way for me to do that on a larger scale.
Before you get started, I'd like to answer a few frequently asked questions.
What are the benefits of an online coach?
Having an online coach offers countless benefits compared to hiring an in-person trainer...and trust me on this, because I do both!
First, online training is flat out more affordable. A typical 50 minute session with me in my gym will run you close to $100. At that rate, you're looking at spending between 800 and 1200 dollars a month. That's a lot of money! BUT for a fraction of that, you can get an entire month of customized workouts designed, nutrition guidance, and weekly check-ins with yours truly. That's a bargain!
Second, online training is more flexible. You have the ability to workout whenever you want, and don't have to worry about scheduling conflicts or last minute cancellations. Your trainer goes everywhere with you via text, email, and Skype. What a time to be alive!
Last, you gain the ability to work with an expert. The fitness industry is currently watered down. Anyone can go and pick up a weekend certification and call themselves a trainer and start working at your local 24 hr fitness. You don't want that kind of trainer, trust me. Online, you have access to career trainers like myself who have more degrees, advanced certifications, and experience than all those other trainers combined.
Who do I work with?
I will work with anyone who is extremely motivated to take action and change their life, however, the majority of my online clients are 22-35 year old professionals who have been in shape before. My clients are interested in looking and feeling better, both with clothes on and without.
Some weight training experience (even if it's minimal) is helpful. Knowledge of basic movements like pushups, squats, lunges, etc. is necessary. If you're a beginner, I'd recommend hiring an in-person trainer to teach you the basics. I'd be more than happy to put an ultra-effective program together for you once you're ready to go!
